fun wedding invitations

A friend of mine is getting married in November so she asked me to do the invitations. She didn't really know what she wanted at the start. Then she came back to tell me they were having a bit of a farm theme as her hubby to be looks after the livestock on the local estate. They have got a tractor cake and favours so I came up with the idea of a sheep and the "Ewe are invited". The only other thing she knew was she wanted some bright pink!
So I had a wee play at the weekend just to give her an idea and she and her fiancee love them so much they couldn't pick between them so the square card is the full invite and the oblong card is the evening invite :o)
the sheep stamp is one I've had forever and has no label, our printrer had packed up hence the scribbled wording lol. So just 100 to make now then lol

week 66 @ Allsorts

Morning all and for a change the sun is out this morning!! This week over at Allsorts it is my turn again to set the theme. I want to see projects less than 3" in size :o)

I have made a box from parchment for a friend of mine who has just had a baby boy. The box measures 7cm x 7cm and has a gorgeous heart opening. I have made this box before with a tiny pair of parchment baby shoes but I didn't have the energy to make the shoes this week as I have been struggling with a horrible cough. Instead I rolled up two little bibs and tied them with ribbon. The pic I took of that was terrible though so you'll just have to imagine it lol

The sponsor this week is the fabulous Joanna Sheen and the prize is £10 to spend in her shop.

You have just over a week left to enter the Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge, the theme this month is glitter and glitz and we also have a DT call going on so head over there and get yourself glittery!!

Penny Black @ Allsorts for August

Thought I would post this again as I think it might have got lost under the last post. Over at Penny Black at Allsorts we want to see your "Glitter and Glitz" Lets face it we all love a bit of sparkle and glamour on our cards don't we? Any excuse and we're there glittering everything to within an inch of it's life, including the dog if she gets too close lol

When I made this card I was in a simple frame of mind (its become more or less permanent since the wee man's arrival lol). I have decided to make all my Christmas cards following 6 designs this year and this is one of them, though I will have to buy a heap of envelopes as it is quite a small card.

Both the snowflake and sentiment are Penny Black stamps, with a bit of stickles and a few gems to decorate. the little silver charms I got at the secc a couple of years ago, I have LOADS!

We have 6 fabby prizes this month.....yes 6! Here they are aren't they gorgeous? Remember you can enter three times each month.....so what a re you waiting for ........let yer sparkle out girls!!

oh nooooo!!

We are just back from a lovely few days at my mums. I had a week of work so we went down and managed to visit all the family and some friends and oh my mum just spoiiled me rotten....no cooking or cleaning, she even did our washing and ironing bless her. She said she wanted me to have a relaxing time :o) Ian and I even managed a night out......only our 2nd time since Alfie came along lol

Just came online quickly on hubby's pc to see if I had any comments on my Allsorts card and the Penny Black at Allsorts card and disaster has struck!!! The two posts have disappeared! I wrote them on Friday evening and scheduled them and now I can't even find them :o(

Of course all the pics are on my laptop so will be back in the morning with both cards!!
