Aww I love this wee butterfly girl isn't she just a wee cutie? Allsorts 96 For a special lady

Saturday again, how did that happen?? Don't know where the week has gone!! This week at Allsorts Debs would like to see cards, projects, gifts or anything for a special lady. Mothers day is in just a week so a perfect time to get ahead and make that special something for your mum or for any other special lady in your life.

I made this card for a friend of mine. We used to work together many moons ago and is retiring soon. She is soooo not a girlie gorl, she can't stand pink and flowers and butterflies and all those other pretty thin gs so I thought she would like this.

I managed a few crafty moments this week!! A wee while snatched here and there and I manged to make a couple of cards :o) First up I made this card for a lady in the church who has been doing the flowers for years and she is retiring. this card will be from the congregation. The flowers in the middle are a glittery sticker. I am enrtering it into the the Die Cut Dreams challenge of a card for mothers day or a special person

Next up we have my attempt at doing something a bit different lol Don't know whats up with the photography these days, this one is a bit dark! I am entering a few challenges with this one:

Week 94 Luck o the Irish

Thsi week at Allsorts it is my turn to set the challenge and seeing as St Patricks day is this week I decided to go with that. So I am looking foranything Irish, anything Good Luck or anything with lots of green :o)

My card is made from the Craft the Year Away cd from Funky Hand. The shaped card is called a wobble card and is a template on the cd. It was sooooo easy to make and actually looks much better in real life :o)

Can't wait to scoot round all the entries this week

WOW I managed to get some craft time!!

Don't ask me how but Alfie had a good sleep this afternoon so I made the most of it!! He's such a lovely wee boy and happy enough but if I sit at the table he knows that I am not paying attention to him so he acts up and turns into a wee devil LOL

this card is for one of our grand daughters who is going to be 10 on Monday. The image is a Penny Black stickeroo, can't remember who made the papers I've had them for ages and the packaging is gone. The flowers and brads and buttons etc are all from stash.

Lily's teacher and his wife had a baby boy over the weekend so Lily came home demanding a baby card!! Papers are from the same collection as above but as I said I've had them so long I can't remember who they are by.

Teenager time......scary lol

Yes we are looking for card/layout/gift or whatever for a teenager. *shudder* I really struggle with anything for teenagers, haha maybe its because its been so long since I was one lol.

As it is the first week of the month that means we are sponsored by the fabulous Digistamp Boutique and I picked Josh with Skateboard........so not only a teenage card but a boy teenager LOL

Josh is coloured with the usual Promarkers, buttons are SU and the cardstocks are just scraps. The sentiment was printed on the pc.

InStyle Stamps

Oh dear I am having a bit of a white rabbit moment with this card.....I'm late I'm late! Alfie has been in the wars a little this last 2 weeks. Last week he had a bad cough and cold that was waking him in the night and ended up as a chest infection so that was a 10 days of sleepless nights. The on Sunday evening I noticed he was covered in a rash. Turns out this is a reaction to his MMR (measles, mumps and ruebella) injection he had 2 weeks ago, it's called mini measles apparently. He is totally fine he just has a rash all over, thankfully its not contagious or anything.

Anyway back to my card for this months InStyle Stamps. The image is called Princess Clarrissa and isn't she just so cute? I love her and I used her to make a card for Lily's friend who turned 6 yesterday. A perfect image for any little princess in your life :o)
