challenges!!

I was looking for a challenge to do yesterday and had a go at "Touch of Pink" for the Arty Girlz blog and also "Pattern and fancy papers" on Created by Hand Challenge and here is the card I came up with. The bag is stamped and embossed ont parchment paper, I did a bit of gridwork on it then stitched it to the pink patterned paper with the beads, attached it to holographic mirricard.

had the chop lol

Been to have my hair all chopped off!! Feeling much more myself now :) So much easier for the Summer as well, well thats if we et one!! Have been really busy and haven't had much time for crafting, it was Ian and I's 12th anniversary last week so we went out for a "Lily free" evening which was lovely for a change. We had the Sunday School picnic last weekend, we took them to landmark which is a local attraction set in the middle of a huge forest......inevitably it rained and I got eaten alive by the dreaded midges! I am still scratching now ugh!
Lily had her taster day at primary school today and she had a fantastic time, she loved it. Not sure if she will be disappointed to have to go back to nursery for the rest of term......only 7 school/work days left now til the end of term and also til we go on holiday.....I am definetely in need of my holidays this year :)

2 more cards today

One for our grandson who will be 13 on Monday, the tag comes out and has a toy £10 on it, and the greeting on the back, it is a gift card and has some spending cash in it!!

The second one is for my step dad for Fathers day, he's a real music addict so I am sure he will appreciate the guitar
I am pleased with both of them, I find it difficult making men and boys cards so to make two in one day is a miracle lol

busy day!!

Been trying out tea bag papers and bits n bobs for carolivy She has a new cd coming out, have been playing with two sets to see how they come out :)

I had great fun, it has been ages since I did any tea bagging, I had forgotten how much I enjoy fiddling with small square bits of paper. It felt like I had only just sat down and all of a sudden I had made three cards lol

wedding card

A friend has asked me to make two cards for her sister who is getting married in 2 weeks. One is to be from her and her husband and the other from her two sons. I thought about a 3d one from the boys and found this sweet one from Morehead (I love these sheets they are so sweet and cute!!). Stitched the corners, some peel off hearts ..... et voila as the french would say. The thread is variegated blues and lilacs and it is stitched onto pale blue pearleascent card. Now I just have to work on the other one lol
