Mothers Day at Allsorts

Morning all! How we all doing? Hope you are all faring a bit better than us with the weather. As I type this on Friday afternoon the roan that runs from Perth to Inverness is closed in loads of places.......and than includes both North and South of us so we are effectively snowed in, no papers, no post..........thankfully though we have electricity which I know a lot of people in Perthshire don't have.

Anyway this week at Allsorts Challenge we have a theme of Mother's Day (it's not long now its the 14th March this year) When I was checking the date online (cos I was too lazy to get off my butt to walk to the calendar to check lol) I found that in the UK we celebrate Mother's Day on the 4th Sunday in Lent, well you learn something new every day they say! So thats means it's not long til Easter........mmmmmm I can smell the Easter Eggs already :o)

Week 40 over at Allsorts

Wow I can't believe Allsorts has been going for 40 weeks already. Not long til our anniversary ......so exciting we have some fab plans to celebrate!!

This week is Jules' turn to set the challenge and she wants "a label, tag or a ticket on your creation". We are being sponsored this week by Digital Inc Co who very kindly sent some images for the DT to play with. I got this cutie pie elephant, isn't it just adorable?

Shock .....horror I managed some crafty time last week. I had the christening invitations to make so Ian looked after the wee man while I had an afternoon crafting. Luckily he doesn't know how long it takes to make cards so I was able to make a few more while he was happily looking after Alfie lol

Allsorts week 38 and I am back lol

YAY!! finally got my backside in gear and decided to get back into the swing of things with the DT over at Allsorts. I was missing joining in the fun lol

This week we want you to get distressed! I love the look of distressed cards but can't seem to get into the way of it, but hey I had a go and made this card for Ian's eldest grandchild who we can't believe is 16 now!! OMG lol When Ian and I first got together Abigail was just 10 months old so that will show you how long we have been together lol

LOL proof that I did distress the papers :o)

it was great to get the craft stuff out and have a couple of hours playing, lets hope I can keep get some more crafty time again soon :o)
