this weekends challenges

I had a busy weekend, on Saturday Ian and I wrestled with Lily's new bedroom furniture. I think I have found my talent.............I am expert at picking the most complicated flat pack furniture EVER!!! It took us all day and more than a few naughty words but we finally got the wardrobe and bed made :) Lily loves her new bed so that makes it all worth it lol I was too exhausted to craft though! Must be a first lol
We spent the day at my mum's yesterday, Lily adores her granny so we had a lovely day. My brother came with his girlfriend and their 3 month old baby, Cameron, so I had loads of Auntie cuddles.....awww much cuteness!!

Managed to make a couple of cards last night, the first one is for the Card Positioning Systems challenge.......the fairy image is from a Christmas card Lily received last year and the wings and crown are glittered. This one will probablt be for Lily to give to one of her friends seeing as it was her card I used to make it :)

The second card is for the challenge over at Sketch Saturday I really like this sketch and I can see myself using it a lot, it is nice and simple for the numerous Xmas cards we all have to make :) The papers I have used are a free download at funkyfairy it is available here

And finally the third card is for the new challenge blog I mentioned earlier in the week Just Christmas and Birthday cards It was a sketch this week and again it was a nice and simple one. I chose to make a Xmas card seeing as there are so many to be made! The fairy image was another of Lily's cards from last year I think she is so cute lol

Great cards. Love the idea of recycling from an old Xmas card. I HAVE thought about it, but I can't bear to cut up last year's. LOL. I have all the cards my partner and I have received for each Xmas since we've been together, in a separate folder for each year. I don't want to break them up!
