Oh dear I am like a headless chicken this week and I am only just getting round to posting my card for this week's Allsorts challenge. The challenge was set by Fleur and she wants you to use stitching this week, real or faux :o) Our sponsor this week is Tracey from Fred She Said who designs some really beautiful digi images. I first found fred She Said through a craft forum about 3 years ago and have used the snowflake medallion lots of times as well as a few of the other doodle dallions. Tracey is offering a $20 gift certificate to spend in her lovely store so please join us and see if you can win it, you won't regret it :o)

One of my old cards made with the snowflake medallion, they come ready coloured and are just fabulous to work with

Race For Life

This is my gorgeous cousin, Joanne, who sadly died a few weeks ago from Ovarian Cancer. She had been fighting it for about 3 years. For years I have been saying I would do the Race for Life and this year I am putting my trainers where my mouth is and have signed up for it! I am doing the Inverness one on Sunday 9 May.

If anyone would like to sponsor me for this fabulous cause my sponsorship page is here

Wish me luck girls, to say I am not sporty is a bit of an understatement!!

Petals and Pearls for Allsorts

This week we are looking for Petals and Pearls and I made this card for hubby's youngest grand daughter who is Peppa Pig daft lol. As you can see she is turning 4 this week. Mind you she will be giving up the mantel as the youngest later this year as my step son Nicky and his wife are expecting their first child in September. We are all so excited as before they married last year they suffered two miscarriages.

Anyway enough rambling here is the card!!

Can't wait to see if you join in :o)

Hello strangers!!! I know I know I have been a terrible blogger haven't I??? I have been a busy mama with my wee man, he certainly keeps me going lol I also had a weekend in hospital a few weeks ago. Have been diagnosed with gall stones (yuk) and am now on a low fat diet to see how I get on. Thankfully it is working well and I haven't had any pain for almost 3 weeks.

We also had Alfie's christening a couple of weekends ago which was a lovely day. Here's a few pics......doesn't he look fab in his wee kilt lol

My theme at Allsorts this week

And I picked "Spring is in the Air". My gorgeous snowdrops came out last week, I was amazed they survived the -29 temperatures we had here in the Highlands over the winter but they seem to be ok (phew lol)

I made this card as it always makes me think of a lovely walk in the Spring. I'd love to stand on this bridge and watch the world go by (and maybe have a wee game of pooh sticks lol)
Please come and join us this week and get yourselves into the mood for Spring!!
Can't wait to see everyone's creations :o)

new pics of Alfie

As promised here are a couple of new pics of the wee man! I can't believe he is 11 weeks old now......where did the time disappear to? It feels like he's been in the family forever lol
He is a fantastic boy, sleeps from 10.30pm til 6.30am and has been doing so since 5 weeks old bless him. He makes up for it during the day of course and hardly has any sleep then, but I'm not complaining I would much rather he slept through the night!

dressed as Tigger taken when he was about 6 weeks old

this is Lily at about the same age in the same outfit for comparison lol two peas in a pod eh?

entering a face pulling contest lol

Allsorts.....black, white and pink

Oh dear someone smack my bum I am only just getting round to posting my card for this week's challenge!! This week Lisa wants us to use black, white and pink :o) a colour scheme I must admit I love so easy for me lol

My card is whitework parchment, the pattern is from a Parchment Craft magazine, the roses each have a tiny pearl in the centre.

This ended up as my card for my mum for mother's day.

Hope you are all having a good week, I am having a busy couple of weeks so will be back soon with some photos of my rapidly growing wee man :o)
